The tools to stop being so hard on yourself, get rid of guilt, and start living and loving on your own terms.
Somatic Therapy in Huntsville AL. Specializing in Narcissistic Abuse, Pregnancy Loss, and Trauma Therapy
You don’t fit the Southern belle stereotype expected of you.
You take care of everyone else, but feel empty and isolated at the end of the day.
You live in a perpetual state of overwhelming guilt. Your emotions skyrocket high or numb down to zero, with little warning.
The unwritten rules say that you should feel guilty if you don’t show up to every event, give until it hurts, and wear overwhelm like a badge of womanhood. But the internal pressure is mounting and you’re about to explode.
People expect you to put on a smile and care for everyone else’s needs, but inside the resentment builds.
You feel pressured to give in to everyone else’s demands, but you’re left with growing desperation to be seen, for your needs to matter.
Your inner critic screams:
“Generations of women before you did it without complaint, so why can’t you?”
Maybe you’re here because …
Something feels “off” in your relationship with your partner or family member. You’re hurting in the relationship all the time, but you can’t point to any particular reason why. Or if you can, these are easily explained away.
You’ve had an unthinkable loss. Life has stopped for you, but the world keeps moving.
You have big, explosive emotional reactions that don’t fit the situation. You remember your childhood as pretty good, but there are a lot of memory gaps.
HI, I’M KELLI.
I help women who don’t fit the mold to release all-encompassing guilt and reclaim their time, energy, and identity.
Therapy with me is about learning to say no without the guilt
I will help you uncover your true wishes, establish boundaries, and be confident in your own decisions.
With me, you’ll get full, wraparound care. We’re going to tune in, not just to what the mind is saying, but the wisdom of the body
Together, we’ll explore your innermost experience, from your somatic sensations, to feelings, to the stories that you tell yourself. You’ll get in-session calming exercises that you can take with you into your day-to-day experience.
In our work together, you’ll discover that you can care for yourself and still be a loving person. That means you can start taking up space and fulfilling your needs without compromising your values. My hope is that by the end of our work together, you’ll have uncovered the source of your big, unexpected emotions and learned new, powerful ways to manage them and harness their power without letting them control your relationships.

Support for Christians
While not every client I work with identifies as or is a Christian, I believe those who are deserve to sit down with someone who deeply understands what it means to endure trauma and recover as a Christian. I have a lifetime of experience walking through suffering as a Christian, hearing the unhelpful platitudes, plagued with guilt and wondering what I’m doing wrong, and engaging my own journey of healing through Christian counseling.
Therapy shouldn’t shy away from faith crises that come with tragedy, but should be a supportive safe haven like we have with our heavenly Father. “God is near to the broken hearted.”
I believe therapy shouldn’t be a one-size-fits-all and should go beyond just “talk.”

In-person and online sessions to fit your schedule.
For busy moms, professionals on a lunch break, or longer travel times, having the option to choose in-person or virtual session types just makes sense. I’ve had clients who have a sick kid or a jam-packed schedule switch over to a virtual session at the last minute. Other clients prefer being in the office face-to-face for optimal focus. Either way, choose what fits your lifestyle best!
